1. When the clutch of the power shift transmission is engaged, the pressure of the hydraulic oil overcomes the spring force to press the friction plate tightly. With the increase of hydraulic oil pressure, the friction plate contacts with the metal plate and gradually compresses, so that the clutch smoothly transmits the flywheel power to the transmission input shaft. Every shift, friction plate and steel plate friction, heat generated by the coolant out.
When the friction plate and steel plate become thinner, in order to make them fully joint, more hydraulic oil is needed. The engine must be further accelerated, and the sliding time of the friction plate on the steel plate will also be prolonged, resulting in more friction heat, which will increase the temperature of the hydraulic oil. When the temperature is enough to change the performance of the seal in the transmission, the transmission will produce internal leakage.
The internal leakage causes the increase of heat from two aspects: the leakage of high-pressure oil through the damaged seal makes the oil temperature continue to rise; Due to the oil leakage, the hydraulic pump will need to deliver more oil to ensure the pressure required to engage the clutch, so that the clutch can be fully engaged, which also requires the engine to continue to accelerate, so that the hydraulic pump can produce greater flow. Such a vicious circle will lead to overheating or burning of the clutch until it is completely invalid.
2. When the loader moves weakly or the oil temperature is too high, it is necessary to judge whether the clutch piston seal is not tight or the oil pressure is insufficient. However, it is sometimes difficult to determine which cause the fault by conventional detection methods, especially in the case of no power, it is more difficult to check the seal rings of the assembled transmission assembly. At this time, the pneumatic valve can be used for testing.
First of all, remove the control valve of the automatic feeding mixer transmission (before installing the control valve for the assembled transmission), and then fill each oil hole of the transmission with 0.6-0.8mpa gas in turn. If a hole is filled with gas, a "bang" sound can be heard, and there is no air leakage sound or the air leakage sound is very small, It shows that the seal between the clutch piston and cylinder is good; If the sound of the piston pressing the friction plate is not heard and the air leakage is large, the seal between the clutch piston and the cylinder barrel is invalid, and the seal should be replaced.
